Casa Margi retains the simple, authentic character of a historic borgo home. Stone, timber, exposed beams and natural materials are combined with carefully chosen furnishings, fabrics and details, creating rooms that feel warm and personal.

The living room, centred around its 18th-century fireplace, is the heart of the house. The kitchen and everyday living spaces preserve a genuine sense of home, making Casa Margi intimate, comfortable and welcoming.

Outside, a sheltered patio beneath the pergola creates a private setting for an intimate breakfast or a candlelit dinner surrounded by greenery. And when the evening turns cool, there is the pleasure of returning to the warmth of the fire after a day spent exploring the woods.

Casa Margi conserva il carattere semplice e autentico di un’abitazione storica. Pietra, legno, travi e materiali naturali incontrano arredi, tessuti e dettagli scelti con cura, creando ambienti caldi e personali.

Il soggiorno, raccolto intorno al camino del 1700, è il cuore della casa. La cucina e gli spazi della vita quotidiana mantengono quella dimensione domestica che rende Casa Margi intima e accogliente.

All’esterno, un patio sotto la pergola offre uno spazio raccolto per una colazione intima o una cena a lume di candela, immersi nel verde. E poi il piacere di rientrare, quando la sera si fa fresca, e ritrovarsi davanti al fuoco dopo una giornata nei boschi.

La Contessina preserves some of the most distinctive elements of Acquaviva’s architectural heritage. Ancient stone walls, timber beams, rose-coloured ceilings and a pink marble fireplace give the interiors a strong and immediately recognisable identity.

Paintings, period furniture and objects collected over time add a deeply personal character to the rooms. At the heart of the house, the living room brings together the fireplace and a large arched window, drawing light and landscape into the interior and creating a timeless contrast between the solidity of the old house and the nature unfolding beyond it.

La Contessina conserva alcuni segni molto particolari della storia di Acquaviva. Le antiche murature in pietra, le travi, i soffitti rosa e il grande camino in marmo rosa danno agli ambienti un’identità forte e immediatamente riconoscibile.

Dipinti, mobili d’epoca e oggetti scelti nel tempo completano gli interni con un carattere personale. Al centro della casa, il soggiorno riunisce il camino e la grande finestra ad arco, che porta la luce e il paesaggio dentro gli spazi, creando un contrasto sospeso nel tempo tra la solidità degli interni e la natura che si apre all’esterno.

Four seasonsQuattro stagioni

Acquaviva reveals a different character with every season. Spring brings fresh greenery and wild flowers; summer opens the landscape to outdoor living; autumn colours the woods with spectacular foliage and marks the beginning of the truffle season. Then winter arrives with snow, bringing a quiet, intimate atmosphere to the stone, timber and fire.

Acquaviva cambia volto con le stagioni. La primavera porta il verde nuovo e i fiori, l’estate invita a vivere il paesaggio all’aperto, l’autunno accende i boschi di foliage e accompagna la stagione dei tartufi. In inverno, quando arriva la neve, la pietra, il legno e il fuoco restituiscono al borgo un’atmosfera intima e raccolta.

Alpe della Luna

The territory Acquaviva is set within: woods, ridges, streams and paths, crossed by a network of CAI trails, among them the Sentiero 00. Badia Tedalda holds the della Robbia school terracottas, the Visitor Centre and the Historic Park of the Gothic Line. Sestino, with its Antiquarium, tells the Roman history of the area; at Lamoli di Borgo Pace stand the Benedictine Abbey of San Michele Arcangelo and the Museum of Natural Colours.

È il territorio nel quale Acquaviva è immersa: boschi, crinali, torrenti e sentieri, attraversati da numerosi itinerari CAI, tra cui il Sentiero 00. A Badia Tedalda si trovano le terrecotte di scuola robbiana, il Centro Visite e il Parco Storico della Linea Gotica. Sestino, con il suo Antiquarium, racconta la storia romana dell’area; a Lamoli di Borgo Pace si trovano l’Abbazia Benedettina di San Michele Arcangelo e il Museo dei Colori Naturali.

Urbino and the Metauro Valley

A Renaissance capital and UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Ducal Palace, the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche, the places of Raphael. Along the valley, Urbania, Sant’Angelo in Vado, Mercatello sul Metauro with the borgo of Castello della Pieve, and the Furlo Gorge.

The arrival is part of the stay

A white gravel road leads down to the ford across the stream; beyond it, the woods open onto Acquaviva. Those who arrive on foot cross an iron footbridge. It is the threshold between everyday time and the rhythm of the mountain.

Access by car is easiest from the Bocca Trabaria state road, from Borgo Pace (PU). Any ordinary car is suitable; low sports cars are not, for the final unpaved stretch.
L’accesso in auto è più agevole dalla Strada Statale di Bocca Trabaria, da Borgo Pace (PU). Ogni normale autovettura è adatta; le auto sportive ribassate non lo sono per l’ultimo tratto di strada bianca.
